Thank you to the person that invented cauliflower crusted pizza! We can eat it without feeling guilty; it’s a delicious, healthier alternative. Of course, you can indulge for the real thing sometimes, but just not all the time. The reason I am trying to cut down on my diet is for Vegas, and its finally DAYCLUB season! My friends and I will be heading out there for spring break at the end of this month, so I still have about two weeks. I won’t be too strict on my diet, but I want to save the empty calories for when I really need it. If you’re watching what you eat, cauliflower “rice” is the best option since it’s low in calories and you can consume a lot of it. Trader Joes sells the cauliflower rice, already pulsed and processed. That makes this recipe so much easier.
What you need: Crust: Cauliflower Rice (1 Bag) 1 Egg 1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese Sprinkle of Italian Seasoning Pinch of salt Toppings (Anything you want): Pizza Sauce Cheese Mushrooms Chicken Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 400. 2. Steam the cauliflower for about 4-5 minutes. And STRAIN all the water as much as you can. 3. Add the Parmesan cheese into the cauliflower mixture. 4. Sprinkle a dash of Italian Seasoning & pinch of salt. 5. Add a beaten egg. 6. Mix everything well. I used my hands. 7. Shape the dough into a round pizza crust. Do not make it too thin, or else it will burn. 8. Put into the oven for about 20 min. until golden brown. 9. Add your toppings onto the crust, and put it back into the oven for about another 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted! ENJOY!
