This past weekend was one of my best friends's birthday, so one of my other good friend and I decided to throw our bestie a surprise party. Although, the surprise was spoiled before the actual day, UGH. Despite that, everything turned out to how we imagined it! We had a a pallet table, mimosa bar, coffee bar, and finger foods to munch on. Altogether, we made it happen on a budget. Believe it or not, most of the things were from daiso ($1.50 store) and 99 cent store. No one would've ever guess that. TIPS: 1. Pallet Table: If you search on craigslist there are a bunch of pallets that are free and you can just go pick them up! We used 3 pallets stacked together and placed a table cloth over. The ground is quite uncomfortable to sit on, so I recommend you use patio furniture pillow seats! 2. SIgns: The signs were from DAISO a $1.50 store. We found these cute chalkboard signs and used liquid chalk to write on. Luckily, my friend knew someone who does calligraphy! 3. 99 cen store: I underestimated this place! They had everything from paper plates, champagne flutes, utensils, fake flowers...You can definitely get a majority of stuff here. 4. You can find cute napkins at TJMAXX in the party section. They usually have the perfect brunch napkin and coasters. 5. Lastly you can't forget the BUBBLES! The huge champagne bottle is only $4.99 at Costco, that's quite a deal!! So stock up when you can.
